Favorite Quotes

“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” Can I share a second quote also?! “Life is not measured by the amount of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.”

— RABINDRANATH TAGORE

Career Highlights:

Director of the Infant and Toddler Care Center On Site in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office for 25 years, and the good fortune of caring for two very wonderful young children and their family for the past almost five years.

Special Skills:

Creating strong and lasting attachments with children so they feel loved and nurtured for exactly who they are, while guiding and supporting them as they grow into the best versions of themselves.  I am RIE trained (Resources for Infant Educarers) which focuses on practicing responsive, respectful, relationship-based caregiving.

Things I am passionate about:

Advocating for children and families, working with and mentoring first time parents as they navigate their new roles, and Food- eating rather than cooking, that is!

In my free time, I love to:

Spend time with my family and friends, read, Jazzercise, spend time outdoors surrounded by the beauty that is Montana.

I want to be remembered by:

The love, care and attention I brought to the relationships with people in my life.

When I was little, I loved to:

Climb trees, read, sing, dance and play tennis.

Personal philosophy:

1. Gratitude and appreciating and loving my life brings me joy and contentment.

2. You can measure the love you bring to each day by the amount of joy you experience in each moment.

3. Look for the opportunities in the challenges.

4. Whatever I put my  attention on grows and I get to choose in any given moment what and where I want to put my attention.

5. Be your word.

“We can’t say enough good things about Bozeman Montessori. There’s a passion for education here – and a general expression of kindness – that really puts you at ease as a parent. It can be hard to leave children [during the day], and see them grow up, but the staff and director at Bozeman Montessori put so much effort into the Montessori Method, and the specific needs of each student, that I feel like our boys (ages 19 months and 3) are in the best hands possible. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this school, the wonderful staff, and the supportive parent community.”
