Part Two — Approaching Day One

1. Acceptance Email Confirmation & Forms

Once your child is officially accepted, you’ll receive email confirmation along with electronic delivery of the required forms, which must be completed before your child’s start date.

2. Immunization paperwork

Immunization paperwork is required by the Department of Health and Human Services (DPHHS) and closely monitored by our local health department as part of being a licensed early childhood center. We require that all families are prompt and accurate in keeping their children’s immunization paperwork in order as a condition of acceptance and continued enrollment.

3. Tuition Agreement and Deposit

Part of the paperwork process includes submitting your tuition agreement and deposit. We encourage you to read everything carefully and ask us any questions you may have along the way.

4. Potential Admission Process Suspension

Please note that the admissions process may be suspended until we have all of the requested paperwork completed and returned in its entirety and all required fees have been paid. Failure to do so may result in losing your acceptance status.

5. Home Visit & Questionnaire

Just before your confirmed start date, a teacher will reach out to you to set up a home visit. During the visit, the teachers will learn more about your child in their natural setting to help them have a positive start with us. They’ll also chat about our Ages and Stages Questionnaire that we share with parents as part of better understanding how we can best serve each child’s unique needs.

6. Annual Orientation

Each family commits to attending an annual orientation. These may be offered live and virtually, to meet the scheduling demands of busy parents.

7. One Month Trial Basis and Check-in

Your child’s first month with us is conducted on a trial basis to give both parties the opportunity to ensure that we have found a mutually good fit. After your child’s first month with us, our program director will reach out to check in with you. Your child’s teachers will also discuss setting up a time to review feedback from the Ages and Stages Questionnaire and any needed follow-up.
